Safety and Sustainability
At i2tech our goal is to make this the safest place an employee will spend their day or night. We pride ourselves in providing a safe and healthy work environment and maintaining policies that safeguard all employees.
We believe our employees are entitled to a workplace free of discrimination, harassment, alcohol, drugs and violence. Workplace policies governing these and other safety related issues are strictly maintained. We also believe that employees at every level of the company are expected to be diligent about accepting responsibility for their own safety and for the safety of their co-workers.
Implementation of programs, such as weekly housekeeping audits, monthly safety committee meetings, first responder training and on-site fork lift training have helped us to meet our goals.
Although i2tech has garnered safety awards from the Society of Plastics Industry and the Iowa/Illinois Safety Council, our most coveted safety accomplishment came in October 2010 when we exceeded 1,000,000 work hours with out a lost time accident.
